Lifelog, the official app from Sony Mobile Corporation is an activity tracker app for Android (Android 4.4 & above), which keeps track of how many steps you take without needing a Smart Band with the additional functionality of setting personal health and fitness goals also follow your fitness progress. The app is compatible with Sony Smartwatch 3, Sony Smartband 2, Sony Smartband Talk SWR30, Smartband SWR10.

The free app has the ability to track steps, distance, heart rate, sleep, calories burnt, setting personal goals, activity progress, cycling, running or walking and allows the user to share their progress with friends and family. Lifelog also has different tiles for tracking services such web browsing, entertainment, books, communications, transportation, games, photo, and music.

IFTTT and Lifelog have joined forces and the new range of IFTTT recipes provides users with the ability to connect Lifelog with a variety of applications, programs and gadgets meaning all your fitness; activity and entertainment can be synced seamlessly into your day-to-day routine.

Lifelog uses analytics software to collect usage data and statistics to help us improve our apps and services and none of this data is used to invade the user privacy.

Asus has developed Hi Vivo application to provide you an easy-to-use management tool for collecting the exercise/sleep data from ASUS VivoWatch, however you would need to use a BLE-supported smartphone. Asus HiVivo app performs four main functions:

My Tracks

My Tracks is a great app for all those who are fitness conscious. It records your path, speed, distance, and elevation while you walk, run, bike, or do anything else outdoors.

It even allows you to view your data live, annotate your path, and hear periodic voice announcements of your progress.

Most importantly, its an easy app to use. Start by downloading and installing the app from the link below. Once it’s on your phone, switch on your GPS and Mobile Data and you’re good to go.

Apart from recording a track, saving it and accessing its details, you also have the option of syncing and sharing your saved tracks via Google Drive.

You can share tracks with friends, see the tracks your friends have shared, or make tracks public and share their URLs via Google+, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Of Course you can choose to keep your tracks private by not checking any of the two check boxes.

My Tracks uses the GPS sensor in your device to record geographic and velocity statistics hence you need to enable the Google apps location setting the first time you use the app if it’s not already enabled.
